Ok so first off this is kind of a secret to some, but the wii has a maintenance mode. Not sure exactly what it is for but i am sure someone can find it useful, as for i already have, and ill get to that later.

So how to get into maintenance mode? Very simple when the wii is first turned on you get the health and safety screen and says press A button. At this screen press and hold the + and - button till screen changes, it will now be in maintenance mode.Oh some places have said to hit the A button after holding + and -,seemed to work both ways so not sure either or i just hold + and -.

So what is it for? Not sure i know it does block your message board. What good does that do? Well if your happen to have a wii with the rare Mail Brick, which will say your system files are corrupt after pressing the A button at the health screen, you can place it in maintenance mode and it will block message board which is causing the brick and make the wii useable even playing games. You will have to put it into maintenance mode every time you want to play it or reset it to main menu, but hey it works for something can keep that wii going  a little longer without paying nintendo to fix it. Hope this helps someone and if any one has some good info to add feel free. Thanks for support!!

Also i placed a video guide on the side which contains some youtube videos of placing the wii into maintenance mode. Thanks!

P.S. If this helps you and you like it how about helping me and clicking on a google ad or two. Also i have a share it button on the side so you can easily pass this on to your Facebook and Twitter friends. Thanks alot!
